Why We Built This

That wasn't just nostalgia — that was user agency. And somewhere along the way, the big platforms took it from you.

Founded in Indianapolis, Indiana by Dortese Dixson, OurSpace 2.0 is a modernized social networking platform that returns power to the people who actually use it. The same mind behind The Legacy Circle book series and the Unfortunate Trilogy — Dortese Dixson — built OurSpace as a digital home for real people who want real connections.
The platform launched in beta with a Founder tier — a group of early believers who shaped what OurSpace became. Those Founders didn't just sign up for an app. They co-created a movement.
